Welcome to our family!!!
We are your normal family with a few extra bonuses. We have been married 18 yrs and have 3 beautiful children, Lauren 15, Christopher 13 and Noah 11. Both of our boys are Autistic and they are to us our gifts. Our biggest disappointment when they were younger was having the boys always watch others kids play sports and even though they could keep up, just wasn't good enough. As a parent it was painful to not have them included. We started coaching regular baseball teams that the boys played on, to get them socially involved and they still play to this day..
After all, they are normal to us.
The older our kids got, the more we met with other families in the same situation. 5 years ago we had a dream, that has become a reality.
Now, with this being our 4th year, we play baseball in the summer, bowling in the winter and looking for many new activities to adventure into.
Beyond All Disabilities is not just one sport.
Our goal was for the kids, to have friends and be part of
something that is a lot bigger than just a team.. it was like an extended family!!
